Bilen is an independent product from Alemayehu Ibrahim, built in Kuwait for creators everywhere who want professional photos and videos from a phone, with transparent credits and no watermark tax.
I am Alemayehu Ibrahim. Bilen started as a belief that anyone should access professional creative tools — not only people with studios or big budgets. I sketched flows on paper, learned what broke, and rebuilt until the product felt honest.
Finishing was harder than starting. Integrations failed, timelines slipped, and there were weeks I questioned whether I should stop. I did not. I kept shipping small wins — auth, styles, payouts, support — until Bilen was real enough to publish.
Launch day was not a movie moment — it was relief. Bilen went live: creators could upload, pick styles, and generate. Every bug report after launch became another reason to improve, not quit.
From Kuwait I grew Bilen into one of the strongest Ethiopian entrepreneur stories here — not because the path was easy, but because Kuwait often does not support expats the way founders need: banking, visibility, and local backing can be uphill. I built anyway — with discipline, community, and proof in the product.
